Delivery of "Biokovo"

The 87.6 m long and 17.5 m wide "Biokovo" has capacities for totally 1200 passengers and 138 cars. She is powered by four diesel engines with 537 kW each, by which a speed of 13 knots is reached. The cross-over between Split and Supetar will now only last 45 minutes. The ferry is equipped with air-conditioned salon with the capacity of 800 passengers, with hydraulic ramp for loading and unloading of vehicles and an escalator for passengers. It is provided for navigation in both directions which are enabled by bow and stern helm and revolving drive.
"Biokovo" is the fifth car and passenger ferries which is built at Brodosplit Naval and Special Objects Shipyard Ltd.
