New building no. 775 of the Dutch shipbuilder Bodewes Shipyards was delivered to its owner Arklow Shipping Nederland BV, Rotterdam based subsidiary of the Irish shipoperator Arklow.
After the successful seatrials "Arklow Bridge" of the yard's 7575 dwat bulker series was christened and handed over at Delfzijl. The 116.08 m long and 15.8 m wide vessel has a cargo loading capacity of 9,486 cum.
