CR Ocean announces 35-ship scrubber contract

The engineering company claimed that the contract takes its scrubber tally to more than 150 units, either installed or on order. In a statement, it claimed to be “cruising full speed ahead to a leadership position as a worldwide supplier of exhaust gas scrubber cleaning systems”.
CR Ocean’s in-line systems are available in open-loop, closed-loop and hybrid configurations and usually replace the silencers, it said. The units are small and compact, suitable both for newbuildings and existing ships, and can be configured in single stream or multi-stream arrangements.
