"Andesborg" launched in Shanghai

At Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, Shanghai, the launching of m.v. "Andesborg" for Dutsch ship operator Royal Wagenborg took place.
The m.v. "Andesborg" (yard number 1676A) with a length of 143 m and a width of 21.5 m is the sixteenth vessel in a larger series of 17,500 tons, 1A ice classed, multi purpose vessels, the Chinese yard is building for Royal Wagenborg. The vessels in this series are geared with three 60 ton cranes.
After the launch, the keel for yard number 1577 was layed. This vessel will be launched as "Amurborg" forthcoming summer.
The expected delivery of m.v. "Andesborg" is scheduled for be beginning of June 2011.
