According to ABB, the adoption will help to expand the group’s advisory systems for customers in the maritime sectors. The transaction is expected to be closed in the third quarter of 2012. Amarcon employs 15 people and the company’s product portfolio provides software solutions for ships focused on safety and improved operational ability.
