40-metre LCT barge delivered in Vietnam

"Hirundo"

Delivered one month earlier than the contractual date, the 194 dwt ship will replace the vessel currently in service, "Le Bouffi", for the daily freight service between St Martin and St Barthelemy. This ship is designed for the transport of moving loads (up to 20 tonnes per axle) with a bow door. Maximum load on deck amounts to 150 tonnes.
The newbuilding will be transported to its destination as deck cargo on the multi purpose vessel "Clipper Grand". Its arrival in the West Indies is scheduled for the end of October.

South East Asia Shipyard (SEAS), Franch shipbuilding company Piriou's shipyard in Vietnam, delivered the "Hirundo", a 40-m LCT barge to Solexia for its sea and air freight subsidiary RMP Caraibes.
