Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd, the specialised shipbuilding arm of Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited, delivered "Global 1201", the second new generation derrick pipelay vessel to Global Industries Ltd, Harvey, Louisiana, safely, on time and within budget.
This dynamically-positioned S-Lay vessel can operate in waters up to 3,000 metres deep, and as per Keppel Singmarine complies fully with the International Maritime Organisation Special Purpose Ships codes.
