133rd ship of “Mitsui’s 56” series delivered

Bulker "Desert Condor" of type Mitsui 56 was delivered to New Borough Corp.

The vessel is a handy-max type bulk carrier of 56,000 dwt with a huge cargo hold capacity over 70,000 m3 and marks the 133rd ship of its series ot type Mitsui’s 56.

"Desert Condor" has a length of 189.99m and a breadth of 32.25m. A main diesel engine of type MAN B&W 6S50MC-C with an output of 9,480 kW enables a service speed of appr. 14.5 knots. The vessel is designed in accordance with IACS Common Structural Rules. Cargo can be stowed into five cargo holds. There are four cranes for handling the cargo.

Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES) completed and delivered the 56,000 dwt type bulk carrier M.V. “Desert Condor” (MES Hull No. 1776) at its Tamano Works to New Borough Corp., Marshall Islands.
