It is chartered to Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.-Petrobras for six years. The rig will operate around 350 km offhore Rio de Janeiro in the Santos Basin. The start of operations is scheduled for June.
"West Eminence" is designed with a water depth capacity of up to 3,000 m and is equipped with a dynamic positioning system.
