UASC launches IMR-Service

United Arab Shipping Co. (UASC) launches a new service IMR (Indian Subcontinent–Middle East–Red Sea Service) covering Pakistan & India to Arabian Gulf and Red Sea destinations. It similarly connects the Arabian Gulf to Red Sea destinations.

The new IMR service deploys a total of six 2,000 TEU vessels. Port rotation on the IMR Service is as follows: Karachi–Port Qasim-Pipapav–Nhava Sheva–Ras Al Khaimah–Jebel Ali–Djibouti-Jeddah–Yanbu–Aqaba–Sohkna-Jeddah–Port Sudan-Hodeidah–Ras Al Khaimah–Jebel Ali–Karachi.

This service will also relay cargo from/to UASC main line services thereby effectively connecting U.S. East Coast, Asia, North Europe and Mediterranean to all ports serviced by the IMR Service via UASC’s hub ports in Jeddah and the Arabian Gulf.
