Schilling Robotics' UHD™ ROV system
In addition, two original UHDs™ delivered to DOF Subsea in 2006 will be upgraded to the advanced UHD™ Gen II design, providing enhanced capabilities and performance. Deliveries of the 4,000 meter rated UHDs™ are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2010.
This order reflects a continued commitment between DOF Subsea and Schilling Robotics for the supply of advanced, high performance, ultra-heavy-duty, work-class ROV systems. The UHDs™ feature Schilling’s power management system, remote diagnostics, and advanced automatic piloting modes that deliver superior operational stability and precise control. Based on integrated sub-systems, the UHD™ reduces complexity, increases efficiency, and lowers the cost of owning and operating an ROV from day one.
