Successful towage of drilling rig
The drilling rig “ODN Delba III” being towed by “Fairmount Summit”

Rotterdam-based Fairmount Marine’s tug “Fairmount Summit” has safely towed the newbuild drilling rig “ODN Delba III” from the Persian Gulf to a location offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. “ODN Delba III” is a semi-submersible drilling rig for deep-water operations, built in Abu Dhabi for Odebrecht Drilling Services.
The total voyage over a distance of approximately 17,000km was performed with an average speed of 6.0 knots, according to Fairmount Marine.
