Statoil Valemon Jacket LOI

Jacket destined for the Staoil Valemon gasfield

The jacket will be fabricated at HFG’s Vlissingen yard in the Netherlands with a planned delivery in May 2012. The jacket will be approximately 157 m tall with a footprint of 45 x 45 m and a top of 26 x 30 m.

A letter of intent for the transport and installation of the jacket has been awarded to the sister division Heerema Marine Contractors. The jacket will be installed in a water depth of approximately 135 m. Valemon is a gas and condensate field between Kvitebjørn and Gullfaks South in the Norwegian North Sea, about 160 km west of Bergen, Norway.

Heerema Vlissingen, one of the three fabrication locations of Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG), has been awarded a letter of intent for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of the approx. 9,200 t Valemon jacket destined for the Statoil Valemon gasfield on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
