Ever Gifted commissioned and placed under management with Synergy Group

Synergy will operate two new 20,000-TEU Evergreen vessels

Japan’s Imabari Shipbuilding has delivered the 20,000-TEU container ship, Ever Gifted, to Taiwanese container line, Evergreen, and the vessel is to be deployed on the carrier’s Far East North Europe and Mediterranean service under Synergy Group management.

The Singapore-based ship manager is now operating both the Ever Gifted and its sister ship, Ever Grade.
The 400m-long vessels have a beam of 58.8m and a total container capacity of 20,388 TEU with 1,300 reefer points. They have MAN B&W eleven-cylinder G95ME engines giving a service speed of 23.2 knots.
Synergy Group now manages a fleet of more than 200 vessels across a range of ship types. The company recently collaborated with shipowners Reederei Nord and Nissen Kaiun to establish N2Tankers, a new Aframax tanker pool.
