Installation of test turbines
The “Sea Installer” has successfully installed two Siemens 6 MW test turbines

It is the first employment of the 132m-long “Sea Installer”, and it is the first time ever that Siemens 6 MW turbines are being installed in an offshore wind park.
The next assignment for the self-propelled jack-up vessel will be the installation of turbines at the Danish offshore wind park Anholt. Afterwards, the “Sea Installer” will set up some of the foundations and transition pieces as well as all the turbines of the 108-turbine project West of Duddon Sands in the Irish Sea.
