Havyard delivers first offshore wind vessel to Esvagt

The SOVs are 83.7m long, 17.6m wide and achieve a speed of 14 knots. Its main job will be to provide accommodation for up to 60 people and transport personnel and equipment for the service and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
Two of the vessels will be used under long-term contracts with Siemens on service assignments for offshore windfarms. The third vessel will be deployed in the Dudgeon wind farm, which is operated by Statoil.
The second vessel in the series is scheduled for delivery in March.

Norway’s Havyard Ship Technology AS has delivered the first of three Havyard 832 service operation vessels (SOV) vessels to the Danish shipping company Esvagt.
