GDF Suez acquires MAÏA EolMer to develop offshore wind power in France

GDF Suez announced the acquisition of 100% of the offshore wind company developer MAÏA EolMer pursuant to an agreement concluded with the MAÏA Group which is present in public works and renewable energies sectors. This agreement further intensifies the collaboration between GDF SUEZ and the MAÏA Group, who are already partners in the development of onshore wind, through their joint subsidiary MAÏA Eolis.
