The contract includes one option for a repeat vessel. It will measure 103.5m of length overall, 23m of breadth and have 10m depth main deck. The multipurpose vessel, named Andy Warhol, will have the class notation “Clean Design” and SPS Code and high focus is given to low fuel consumption, which reduces emission to the environment. The vessel is equipped with a Flash Tekk 18 man single bell saturation system operating at 300m, a 150-tonne AHC crane and it can accommodate up to 120 personnel. It is designed for worldwide operations in the deep and ultra-deep oil and gas sector projects.

Singapore-based offshore contractor Ultra Deep Group (UDS) has placed an order with China’s Wu Chang Shipbuilding Industry to build one DP2 diving support construction vessel (DSCV) of 4,000 dwt.
