STX France renamed Chantiers de l’Atlantique

The move is part of the changes before the yard is taken over by a group led by Italian yard Fincantieri. The new name was announced by French Minister of Economy and Finance Mr Bruno Le Maire to a visit to the yard. The yard is now
temporarily 84.3% owned by the French state, 11.7% by French yard Naval Group and 1.6% by French yard supply companies. Under the French/Italian agreement signed in September 2017, Italian group Fincantieri will take its shareholding when final government approval is received.
