New Cargotec service stations

Cargo handling equipment receives high quality service support, all over the world

Bernt Gunnarson, business development director for MacGregor Service at Cargotec, says that: “By combining Cargotec’s global marine service network with a wide range of maintenance and service solutions for customer fleets, we are able to increase our availability for customers and also reduce a ship's lifecycle costs.”

After the first filtering process, 400 locations were studied in more detail, and shortly thereafter a decision on opening the above first wave of new service stations was taken.

A second wave of widening service operations is now also in its final preparation stage. It includes locations in both the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea areas, as well as another office in Brazil.

As part of Cargotec’s strategy to strengthen its global service network, the company has opened up new service stations in Zeebrugge in Belgium, Esbjerg in Denmark, Liverpool in the United Kingdom, Cadiz and Ferrol in Spain, Kaohsiung in Taiwan, and Balboa in Panama.
