Damen and Siemens offer funding

Damen Financial Services (DFS) and Siemens Financial Services (SFS) have established a new vessel financing facility called Damen Ship Lease (DSL). The new setup is now one of the funds in the Damen Ship Lease Cooperation portfolio, which is managed by DFS.

The alliance will provide a new potential source of funding for owners and operators, combining the expertise of the two partners in their respective fields – maritime and finance. In a drive to support sustainability initiatives, lease options will enable operators to acquire vessels with the latest technology on board. Sectors earmarked by the partners include tugs, fast crew suppliers, multi-cats, tenders, small ferries, and water buses.
