Navtor and Scanreach sign agreement

Digital navigation specialist, Navtor, and wireless sensor expert, Scanreach, have set up a new partnership to enable shipowners and operators to make the most of shipboard data and in support of optimal decision-making.

In an agreement signed on Thursday, the companies will integrate Navtor’s ship operation platform, NavFleet, with the unique wireless setup for sensor data developed by Scanreach.

Navtor chief business development officer, Arild Risholm Sæther, said: “NavFleet has the potential to unite ship and shore; sharing, validating and analysing data to continually monitor and improve vessel, and commercial, performance.
