DSV Projects secures first major oil and gas contract
The contract awarded by GE Oil and Gas involves the seafreight movement of cargo from the UK and Norway to Angola.
Most of the 4,500 tonnes of cargo, including subsea trees and spares, originates in Aberdeen and will be sent breakbulk and in containers via the ports of Luanda, Lobito and Soyo to the GE Oil and Gas (Vetco Gray) Kizomba Satellites Project.
The project is currently underway and is due to be completed by the middle of 2011.
