CMA Shipping returns “in-person” to Connecticut
The 36th edition of the CMA Shipping Expo & Conference will take place from October 13th to 15th in Connecticut, US. After a two-year absence due to the global pandemic, the show will return to an “in-person” event, organisers Connecticut Maritime Association and Informa Markets said in a statement.
The setup includes a comprehensive conference agenda, the Commodore Gala Dinner, and a free-to-attend exhibition with more than 80 booths.
Addressing any concerns that the industry may have around attending networking occasions, Chris Morley, group director, Maritime, Informa Markets, said: “We cannot ignore that the pandemic could continue to impact the way that we want to do some activities, so we want to reassure you that we will remain vigilant, keeping a close eye on local guidelines and working alongside our venue partner in providing and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all attendees.”
Debates will revolve around main topics such as The Human Element, Insurance, Greener Shipping, Bunkering & Legal.
The exhibition hall will showcase latest products and developments from leading technology and maritime equipment suppliers.
