More tugs for Kotug

Kotug International B.V. with towing services in the ports of Rotterdam, Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Le Havre has christened "SD Seal" and "SD Seahorse" which had been delivered from Turkish shipyard Eregli last year.

Vale signs contracts with national shipyards

The metal and mining company Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) signed a contract with three national shipyards for the construction of 15 new tugboats (boats that assist in the manoeuver of vessels at ports), 32 barges and two pushers.

Sperry navigation systems for Fast Patrol Boats for Trinidad and Tobago

Northrop Grumman Corporation, based in Charlottesville, has been selected to supply integrated bridge systems (IBS) for six fast patrol craft being built by Austal Shipyards in Australia for the government of Trinidad and Tobago.
