'Foldable' container to cut carbon and save money

The world’s first five-in-one, foldable ISO-certified shipping container, SeaFold HC 40', has been launched by Florida-based Compact Container Systems (CCS). The company claims that more than a fifth of all containers return empty to their port of origin. However, using the new Seafold HC 40' will slash repositioning costs by 56%, storage space by 80%, and carbon emissions by up to 70%, according to CCS analysis.
