Anthony Veder leads the way with wind-assisted propulsion on gas carrier

In a second Econowind project, Anthony Veder has become the first company to install wind-assisted propulsion on a gas carrier, fitting two VentoFoil sails on the ethylene carrier Coral Patula. The VentoFoils aim to immediately reduce the vessel's carbon footprint, with plans to equip sister ship Coral Pearl later this year. This retrofit marks a significant step toward sustainable shipping by unlocking the potential of wind energy for existing gas carriers.
