Intellian launches new Ku- to Ka-band VSAT antenna

The new antenna, the company claims, is smaller, lighter and has better radio frequency performance than other terminals currently available in the 80-cm class.
Intellian’s entire NX range share modular components, thereby reducing the number of spare parts by almost one third and cutting the total cost of ownership. Meanwhile, modular component design improves reliability and facilitates easy maintenance.
Eric Sung, Intellian CEO, said: "Our main goal in designing the v85NX was to offer the best value to customers for installation, operation and maintenance. With the unveiling of the Intellian v85NX, we will continue to lead innovation by developing class-leading next-generation antennas for use in the satellite communications industry."

South Korea-based satellite antenna system provider, Intellian, chose Posidonia this week as a venue to unveil its new 85cm Ku- to Ka-band convertible maritime VSAT antenna, the v85NX, with a range of key features that make it easier to install, operate and maintain.
