Ship manager chooses digital monitoring technology

Athens-based ship manager, Minerva Marine, has announced that it will invest in RINACube, a digital platform developed by Italian classification society, Registro Italiano Navale (RINA). The digital technology will be deployed on Minerva’s fleet with the objective of improving operation efficiency by collecting and analysing data, thereby aiding the decision-making process both ashore and at sea.
Minerva’s chief operating officer, Sokratis Dimakopoulos, said: “Minerva Marine has decided to take advantage of the digitalisation capabilities in optimising operation and control of fleet vessels, enhancing decision-making and planning, ensuring more efficient cost control management as well as more transparent and compliant operations.”
