Two PSV for Norway named in India

The newbuilds "Brage Supplier" and "Brage Trader" of the PSV 09 design, developed by STX Europe, were built by the Indian shipyard for Norwegian company Brage Supplier KS. "Brage Supplier" and "Brage Trader" are part of a four vessel series of PSV 09 CD type PSV built by CSL. The first vessel of the series was delivered to DOF in July.
The PSV for Brage are diesel-electric DP 2 vessels designed to cater the needs of the Offshore oil and gas industry. The vessels with length of 86m and breadth of 19m meet the highest levels of environmental safety denoted by the Clean Design notation of Det Norske Veritas, In addition to offshore supply operations, the PSV are as per CSL capable of carrying methanol. Accommodation is arranged for 44 people.
