Two additional newbuildings

Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc., New York, has taken delivery of two additional vessels, "Thrasher" and "Avocet", from its newbuild program. The addition of these two vessels brings Eagle Bulk's total on-the-water fleet to 32 vessels.
The 53100 dwt bulker are 189.99 m long and 32.26 m wide. They are registered under Marshall Islands flag and classified by NKK. "Thrasher" and "Avocet" have each entered into nine year time charters.
