In December shipyard Damen Bergum delivered a further Damen Combi Freighter® 8200.
M.V. "Bandura" for the Dutch shipoperator Noordwijk Ocean Services BV is a 8305 dwt multipurpose vessel with two cargo holds and two cargo handling cranes of 40 ton/reach 24 m. the vessel is suitable to transport bulk incl. heavy cargo, steel coils, forest products and further general cargo. For containers there is room for 171 TEU in hold and 165 TEU on deck. A Caterpillar engine of type MaK 9M25C with an output of 2,970 kW is installed as main engine.
In its maiden trip the vessel loaded in the Baltic region for a US destination and continues the voyage via Panama Canal to Asia.
