The vessel is the third 300,000 DWT class ore carrier for NYK.
The 327 m long and 55 m wide ore carrier (152,311 gt) is the first 300,000 DWT class ore carriers for Vale and will be chartered exclusively to Vale over the next 20 years to transport 1.3 million tons of iron ore annually from Brazil.
