The keel for the 337m-long, 42m-wide AIDAcosma has been laid at Neptun Werft in Warnemünde where engine rooms are manufactured for cruise ships built at Meyer Werft and Meyer Turku.
Like its sister vessel, AIDAnova, delivered last December, the AIDAcosma will be fuelled by LNG. The 183,900gt Helios-class vessel will be fitted with fuel tanks and main engines from Caterpillar. It is due for delivery from Meyer Werft in Papenburg in spring 2021.
