Expedition vessel under construction at Richardson Devine Marine
An expedition catamaran passenger vessel is currently being built at Australian yard Richardson Devine Marine for customer On Board Tasmanian Expedition Cruises.
The 24m-long and 8m-wide expedition cruising catamaran will carry 12 passengers and a crew of four. The vessel will feature large windows and each cabin will have a bathroom and queen-size beds. There will be improved access to two tender vessels via waterline platforms on the stern. Passengers are promised a comfortable base in the middle of world heritage-listed wilderness. The company’s four- and six-night cruises from Hobart explore remote parts of Tasmania inaccessible by road.
Delivery is scheduled for January 2023.
