Finnish ship design firm Deltamarin is to provide design, consultancy and project management services for Blue Star Line in the further development of the Titanic II project.

The company will finalise and modify the existing design to comply with regulations including SOLAS 2020 and the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI), as well as handling the management of consultations with potential shipyards.
Clive Palmer, Blue Star Line chairman, commented: "We are delighted that Deltamarin – one of the world’s leading design companies – will once again be working on Titanic II. Deltamarin was one of the first global companies to come aboard when Titanic II was originally launched in 2012 and we are looking forward to continuing our excellent relationship."
Deltamarin’s head of Sales and Market, Kristian Knappi, said: "We look forward to developing the highest level of design for a challenging project. It is a great honour to be part of the history in supporting Blue Star Line in this one-of-a-kind project."
