The new building to be called “MSC Fantastica“ will be the 12. cruise vessel of the MSC fleet. Delivery of “MSC Fantastica“ is scheduled for spring 2012.
The Fantasia-class series was opened in 2008 with „MSC Fantasia“, followed by “MSC Splendida” in 2009. The 133,500 gt ships with a length of 333 m and a width of 37.92 m are designed with a public area of 27,000 sqm, five restaurants, 12 bars and lounges as well as four swimming pools. 82 percent of the 1,637 cabins for 3,959 passengers are outside cabins and 75 percent configurated with a balcony.
