Goltens Dubai and Norway-based Brødrene Aa AS, Hyen, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the intention of marketing high-speed ferries and special purpose vessels built in carbon-fibre composite in the Middle East.

The keel of a ferry to be built for P&O Ferries was laid at STX Europe.
