Austal has secured its first European defence contract with an order for four 21.2 metre inshore patrol craft - including training and spares support - with the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM).

After delivery from Karstensens Shipyard, Denmark, the second Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) for the Danish Greenland operation entered official command under the Royal Danish Navy.

The "RT Margo", which arrived in Rotterdam from Singapore at the end of last year, was christened in the Port of Rotterdam.
