Major US equipment contract signed

TTS Ships Equipment will deliver a new slewing stern ramp and weathertight stern door for a second ship owned by the US Maritime Administration.

New contracts

STX Europe has entered into new contracts with Rem Offshore ASA, Fosnavag, for the building of two Platform Supply Vessels. The total contract value is stated to amount to approximately 750 million NOK.

Two new fast patrol boats to Yemen

Boat builder Alnmaritec Limited, which operates yards at two sites located in Alnwick and Blyth in Northumberland on the North East coast of England, supplied two new fast patrol boats for duty at an LNG export terminal in the Yemen.

Lloyd’s Register authorised by the Japanese government

During a ceremony held in Tokyo, Lloyd’s Register was confirmed as the first foreign classification society to be formally authorised by the Japanese government to carry out surveys on ships flying the Japanese flag.
