Jaxport Board elects new Board Officers

Beginning Oct. 1, 2009, he will assume the role from William C. Mason, Ed.D. who is completing two full terms as a JAXPORT Board member.

Each fiscal year, JAXPORT’s seven-member Board elects officers from its membership. Officers serve one-year terms. In addition, the Board elected the following: Entrepreneur L. Buck Fowler was elected Vice Chairman; Reginald Gaffney, President / CEO of Community Rehabilitation Center, was re-elected Secretary; and Herschel Vinyard, Jr., Vice President of Atlantic Marine Holding Company, was elected Treasurer. Other members of JAXPORT’s Board are attorney Stephen D. Busey and General Contractor Ricardo Morales, Jr. Mr. Morales is also completing his second term as a JAXPORT Board member.
