"Ocean Project"

The new U.S. flagged Dive Support Vessel (DSV) "Ocean Project" of Houston headquartered Oceaneering, an oilfield provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications, has entered service.

Tasks of the 61 m long and 14 m wide new building will be platform and rig inspection, pipeline construction, wet and hyperbaric welding, salvage and atmospheric diving systems support. "Ocen Project" features appr. 915 sqm open deck space and a moonpool. There is deck access to climate controlled decompression chambers. Two divers can be working simultaneously, as Oceneering states. The vessel is equipped with a 40 t electric/hydraulic crane. Accomodations are offered for 50 person.
