Maersk Supply Service (MSS) is to provide three support vessels for the second phase of a Cameroon Oil Transportation Company mooring maintenance project.

The two-month contract, scheduled for the last quarter of 2022, is to be carried out on the Kome-Kribi 1 Floating Storage & Offloading (FSO) unit off the Cameroon coast. It will require the deployment of one subsea support vessel and two anchor handling tug supply ships, MSS said.

The project will involve the replacement of two link arms on a yoke mooring system and follows a first phase in which MSS undertook design, engineering, procurement and installation of a temporary redundancy system.
