Introduction of offshore wind zone

The organisiers of the Offshore Energy, Exhibition & Conference, Navingo BV, said they would introduce a dedicated offshore wind zone at the fifth edition of the event, taking place on October 23rd and 24th at the Amsterdam RAI, the Netherlands.

In 2011, offshore professionals from over 30 nationalities visited Offshore Energy. In total, 292 companies, with numerous operating in the offshore wind industry, displayed their products and services. More then 5,000 industry professionals visited the business-to-business exhibition. A considerable part of these visitors had a special interest in the offshore wind sector.
Offshore wind energy has always been an important part of Offshore Energy, and its role will steadily increase as market demands are rising. At this year’s event the offshore wind zone will be a clearly demarcated area exclusively for offshore wind supply chain companies, according to Navingo.
Offshore Energy 2012 offers multiple conference opportunities, each concentrating on a different subject. The programme is dedicated to giving maximum information from the leading experts about the latest developments in offshore, oil and gas and renewable energy. The programme will also feature several sessions on strategies for successful offshore wind farm developments.
