Cadeler orders two new T-class offshore wind vessels

Offshore wind installation company Cadeler has signed firm contracts with COSCO Shipping Offshore shipyard in China for two new T-class vessels. The ships are scheduled for delivery in 2030 and 2031, at a combined contract value of approximately EUR 805 million.
The vessels will be among the largest and most advanced installation ships in the offshore wind sector, designed to handle increasingly complex projects with greater efficiency and flexibility, Cadeler said in a statement. The orders form part of Cadeler’s long-term fleet expansion strategy and support the global growth of offshore wind.
Cadeler has already secured equity financing for the investment and is in discussions with key clients about deploying the new vessels.
