Acta Marine takes delivery of latest W2W construction vessel
As the third vessel in a series of four newbuilds, Acta Gemini represents a further step in Acta Marine’s continued investment in a modern and future-ready fleet

Netherlands-based Acta Marine has commissioned the Acta Gemini, its latest Walk-to-Work (W2W) construction service operation vessel (CSOV) built at Tersan Shipyard in Türkiye. The third in a four-ship series, the offshore wind support vessel will be deployed on a long-term charter supporting RWE at the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm on the UK’s Doggerbank, currently the world’s largest offshore wind farm.
Operating from Grimsby on the UK’s north-east coast, the W2W vessel has accommodation for up to 88 persons and is equipped with methanol dual-fuel main engines, an advanced offshore access system, a helideck and several daughter craft.

The fourth vessel in the series, Acta Aquarius, is due for delivery later this year.
