Sea-Cargo – major system upgrade from 01 February

"Minerva"

the capacity to/from Amsterdam and the west coast of Norway was increased as well as improved sailing times are offered to/from Norway-Amsterdam and Esbjerg.

This improvement is possible due to a major tonnage upgrade, which include the introduction of a large RORO vessel added to Sea-Cargo fleet with a capacity of 140 trailer units and a considerable upgrade/lengthening of "Trans Carrier", taking her capacity to > 100 trailers.

The key parameters of the new Sea-Cargo vessel "Minerva" are a length of 177,34 m, a beam of 24,00 m, a speed of 17,5 knots and a trailer capacity of 139 units. The other vessel on this route (WC Norway-Amsterdam), mv "Trans Carrier", was lengthened by 20 meters – increasing her capacity to more than 100 trailers.

"Minerva" and "Trans Carrier" will be operated in a revised service scheme to/from WC Norway, Amsterdam and Esbjerg - providing a fast and reliable service both north and south bound. The new scheme also includes a new service leg between Esbjerg and Amsterdam – with a twice weekly schedule in both directions.
