Divestment of hull shipyard in Sweden

The divestment will give Bergen Group a limited accounting profit. A final sale is expected to be completed during 1st quarter of 2010.
Landskronavarvet AB became a part of Bergen Group ASA when the company acquired Fosen Yard in the fall of 2008. Hull construction in Sweden is not included in Bergen Group's strategy, and the activity at the Swedish hull shipyard has been phased out since the last hull delivery in August 2009.
Bergen Group operates in four business areas; offshore, maritime service, technology and shipbuilding. The activity in shipbuilding is related to the construction of advanced offshore vessels and specialized ships.
