Fourth cruise vessel in a series for Virgin Voyages

British company Virgin Voyages has placed an order with Italian yard Fincantieri for a 110,000gt cruise ship worth 700 million euros.

The ship will have over 1,400 guest cabins designed to accommodate over 2,770 passengers, accompanied by 1,100 crew members on board. It with be the
fourth vessel in a series for Virgin Voyages, owned by British businessman Richard Branson. The vessel will be delivered in at the end of 2023. The new vessel will be a sistership of the three ships already on order with Fincantieri. Construction is underway at the Sestri Ponente shipyard in Genoa and the first three ships will
enter Virgin Voyage’s fleet in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The fourth vessel will be around 278m long and 38m wide.
