Four self-propelled barges for Louis Dreyfus to be built in China

French group Louis Dreyfus Armateurs has placed an order at Chinese yard Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry for four 13,000dwt self-propelled bulk barges.

The yard is part of the CSIC group. The vessels will be used for transporting bauxite aluminium ore around West Africa. They will be delivered in the second half of 2019.
